This role sits at the intersection of field operations, ERP systems, and process automation - mapping how work actually happens on the ground and identifying where technology (RPA, workflow tools, integrations) can remove friction, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality.\nPlease Note: this is a contract position for a term of 6-months to start with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business need.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nDocument and analyze current-state operational process flows across commercial, field, and back-office functions\nIdentify opportunities for automation (RPA, workflow tools) and lead requirements gathering for implementation\nWork within ERP systems to support configuration, reporting, and integration needs\nPartner with field data capture platforms to ensure data flows accurately from the field into core systems\nWrite and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, validate, and transpose data across systems\nSupport data pipeline and analytics work in Databricks - querying, transforming, and validating data across lakehouse environments\nTranslate business requirements into functional specifications for IT/vendor teams\nSupport system implementations, upgrades, and data migrations from a business-process perspective\nAct as liaison between operations, IT/IS, and external vendors/consultants\nRequirements\n5+ years in a business analyst, systems analyst, or process improvement role\nWorking knowledge of SQL (querying, joins, basic data transformation)\nExperience with ERP systems (implementation, support, or super-user level)\nExposure to field data capture / mobile data collection tools (construction, energy, or field services industry a plus)\nFamiliarity with RPA or workflow automation concepts and tools (UiPath, Power Automate, or similar)\nExperience working in Databricks or similar cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Synapse) for data querying and transformation\nStrong process-mapping skills (BPMN, flowcharting, or similar)\nExcellent written and verbal communication; able to translate between technical and operational stakeholders\nComfortable working in a contract capacity with the flexibility and initiative that entails\nBenefits\nWe offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes a complete range of employee benefits to ensure you have the tools necessary to manage, maintain, and improve your health and wellbeing.\nAbout our Business\nArnett & Burgess Energy Services (A&B) is a leading service provider to the energy industry.
