Join our team as a Digital Engineer in Edinburgh. In this permanent role, you will work across front-end applications, back-end services, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations. You will develop, deliver, and support digital solutions that provide exceptional client experiences while building your skills across a broad technology stack. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences and business outcomes. Missions

  • Develop and support digital applications, APIs, services, and integrations across Aberdeen’s digital estate, delivering secure and scalable solutions.
  • Build and support cloud-hosted applications within Microsoft Azure while maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences and business outcomes.

Profil recherché

- Experience creating and maintaining automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks

- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly, collaborate effectively and learn new technologies

- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Git, GitHub and CI/CD automation

- Experience building REST APIs or back-end services, ideally using C# and .NET

- Strong problem-solving skills with an understanding of security, compliance and agile delivery practices

- Experience developing and supporting production digital applications using modern engineering practices

- Desirable criteria: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Terraform, Sitecore XM Cloud, Vercel, Storybook, GraphQL, CodeQL, SonarQube, SEO and performance optimisation, and experience working with enterprise-scale digital platforms
