We invest in Asian companies to grow with them and to help them to become better investors\nRole Purpose\nBased in Hong Kong, this role provides dedicated support to Aberdeen's Wholesale and Institutional businesses across Greater China, including Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. The position plays a critical role in enabling business growth through sales support, client servicing, consultant engagement and fund research relationship management.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with sales, investment specialists, product, marketing and client service teams to support distribution efforts, enhance operational efficiency and strengthen Aberdeen's relationships with key fund research houses and consultants, including Morningstar. \nThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of Aberdeen's Greater China franchise while gaining broad exposure across wholesale, institutional and strategic distribution channels. \nRequirements\nMinimum 2 years' experience within financial services, preferably asset management\nStrong interest in financial markets, investment funds and asset allocation solutions\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin preferred)\nExperience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred\nKey Responsibilities\nSales Support (Wholesale & Institutional)\nProvide dedicated support to the Wholesale and Institutional sales teams across Greater China.\nCoordinate the preparation of client presentations, investment proposals, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), RFPs, RFIs and other client materials.\nSupport pre-meeting preparation, including gathering market intelligence, portfolio information and customised presentation content.\nCoordinate post-meeting follow-up actions, client requests and information delivery.\nAssist in developing client-facing messaging, sales materials and campaign content while ensuring compliance approvals are obtained.\nLiaise with investment specialists, product teams and subject matter experts to support client enquiries and business development initiatives.\nSupport distributor onboarding, institutional mandates and ongoing client servicing activities.\nEnsure accurate maintenance of client and prospect information within Salesforce.\nSupport local client events, webinars, roadshows and marketing initiatives across the region.\nGenerate sales reports, pipeline analysis and business intelligence to support management decision-making.\nFund Research & Consultant Relations\nCoordinate fund reviews, analyst meetings and information requests with research providers and consultants.\nMaintain strong working relationships with research analysts, consultants and ratings agencies.\nCoordinate consultant database updates, due diligence submissions and ongoing review processes.\nPartner with investment, product and sales teams to ensure consultants and research providers receive timely and accurate fund information.\nMonitor consultant feedback, fund ratings and research commentary, providing insights to support product positioning and distribution strategies.\nRegional & Strategic Projects\nCollaborate with broader APAC sales support teams to share best practices and drive operational efficiencies.\nProvide backup support to regional sales support functions as required.\nParticipate in strategic projects that support wholesale and institutional business growth across Greater China and APAC.\nSupport initiatives related to new fund launches, platform approvals, consultant reviews and distribution opportunities.\nWe’re committed to providing an inclusive workplace where all forms of difference are valued and which is free from any form of unfair or unlawful treatment.
