All the personnel on the team will work together to support transport and cybersecurity information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, inclusive of new facilities and building constructions to support the IC mission.\nThe right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinates system maintenance, monitors and installs multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies.\n\nAssists with research and implementation of enterprise system-wide network solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.\n\nTroubleshoots and resolves network media and components.\n\nEvaluates and monitors health and performance of the network including hardware and management software.\n\nDevelops and maintains a road map for capabilities, operations, and technologies.\n\nAssists with development and execution of test plans and supports documentation of all network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions for customer approval before implementation.\n\nSupports network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts to ensure attainment of performance and availability objectives.\n\nEvaluates and reports on new/emerging network/communication technologies to enhance capacity, performance and reliability of the network.\n\nEvaluates and recommends changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization and industry best practices.\n\nFollows all Customer network security processes and procedures, ensures compliance with all Government policies.\n\nRepresents customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies.\n\nPerforms site surveys to new installations and technology refresh.\n\nInstalls, maintains and troubleshoots satellite communications equipment.\n\nDevelops and maintains network architecture diagrams.\n\nThis position is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA.\nQualifications\nClearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI poly.\nDegree and Years of Experience: BA/BS Degree. (Additional experience may be considered instead of a degree.)\n8+ years related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies, tools, and techniques.\n4+ years’ experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment.\nRequired Certifications:\nIAT Level II compliant.\n\nDesired Certifications:\nJNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, CISCO CCNP, CCVP, CCNA or CCDP (or equivalent)\n\nITIL v3 Foundations\n\nISC2 CISSP\n\nRequired Skills:\nUnderstanding and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions.\n\nExperience with Juniper, switches, routers, and firewalls. (MX, EX, QFX, SRX devices) Cryptographic devices (KG-175G/F/X, KG-142)\n\nExperience with Network analysis tools (Network monitoring, AAA solutions, security analysis tools, etc…)\n\nExperience with supporting IP services to connect to NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and other external environments.\n\nExperience with switching/LAN/L2 technologies, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP/LDP L2/3VPNs, VRFs, IKE/IPSec, GRE tunnels, MTU/MSS, Import/Export policies, IPv4, IKE/IPSEC, Multicast, COS/QOS, SNMP, SYSLOG, AAA, etc…\n\nExperience with planning hardware for a new site installation or recap effort of existing equipment, planning projects, drafting network diagrams, drafting engineering configurations.\n\nExperience with troubleshooting network environments and providing regular updates.\n\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with integrating multi-vendor cloud environments.\nExperience with network automation via Python/PYEZ or Ansible.\nExperience with Open-Text Network Automation, Network Node Manager, ScienceLogic SL1, Forward Networks, Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass, Juniper Route Director, Juniper Security Appliance, Riverbed, Infoblox & NetTerrain.\nAbout Abile Group, Inc.\nAbile Group, founded in July 2004 to support the Intelligence Community and its contractors across Enterprise Analytics, IT & Systems Engineering, and Program & Project Management, merged with Valiant Solutions in January 2026 - an established provider of cybersecurity technologies and services for Federal Agencies since 2005.
