The mission will include Operations, Compliance, Cyber Security, Customer Service, and Engineering. The right Data Center Engineer (Storage) candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.\nResponsibilities\nPlans the implementation of enhancements and upgrades to routers/switches for a large, worldwide enterprise network.\nDesigns and plans changes to network communications systems as required.\nProvides specifications and develop detailed schematics for network architecture.\nProvides Tier 2 level support to Operations to troubleshoot and resolve enterprise networking outages or technical issues.\nConducts cost/benefit analysis and provides specific detailed information to the customer for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet program mission needs, including present and future capacity requirements.\nDevelops and maintains Ansible playbooks, Unix shell scripts, and batch scripts for configuration and auditing of network routers and switches.\nConfigures and maintains tools for enterprise-wide network monitoring of VMs, switches/routers, and datacenter hardware using scripts and SNMP/IPMI protocols.\nServes as local subject matter expert for network administration and monitoring tools, such as Zabbix and TACACS+ server.\nTracks initiatives and tasks using Jira as a contributor to an Agile Scrum team.\nConfigures and maintains DISA STIG compliance on Cisco router and switch network devices.\nQualifications\nClearance Required: TS/SCI with Poly.\nDegree and Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA or minimum of 6 years with MS/MA, or 12 years of applicable work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.\nRequired Certifications:\nA current/valid Security+ Certification.\nDesired Certifications:\nA current/valid CCNA and/or CCNP Certification.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience with developing Zabbix templates for network monitoring.\nExperience working with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS-XE and NX-OS routers and switches.\nExperience working with EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF Protocols, including authentication and route distribution.\nExperience with Cisco zone-based firewalls, Access Controls Lists, IPSEC tunnels, Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) and VLAN separation.\nExperience with scripting languages, such as Expect, Bash, and Python.\nExperience with Ansible playbooks.\nExperience applying security configurations to Cisco networking devices according to DISA STIGs.\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with Jira, Zabbix, and TACACS+.\nExperience working in Agile Scrum teams.\nSalary Range:\nThe estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position.
