All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.\nThe right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinates with project staff for solution development and deployment while managing project aspects within applicable technical area of responsibility.\n\nCollaborates with system engineers across teams and disciplines to ensure solutions meet established technical goals and are deployed within established timelines.\n\nEvaluates new network technologies and makes recommendations to stakeholders regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network.\n\nDevelops and implements methodologies for analysis, testing, and support of LAN and WAN networks.\n\nDiagnoses hardware and software problems and replace defective components.\n\nSupports operations and maintains activities and administer networks including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.\n\nEnsures systems are integrated with existing performance and availability management framework.\n\nSchedules and coordinates systems changes within the established change management framework.\n\nEvaluates new system hardware and software to ensure optimal integration with existing hardware and compliance with customer standards.\n\nPrepares technical proposals for presentation to the engineering review boards for adding new technologies to the network.\n\nPerforms a full range of upgrades in accordance with existing network architecture.\n\nReviews user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to assess impact on network performance and provide advice and guidance on the most practical technical approach to meeting user requirements.\n\nPerforms long term O&M activities to include tier 3 troubleshooting and problem resolution.\n\nInterfaces with external tier 4 support staff and vendor support as required for problem resolution.\n\nUtilizes complex network analysis tools to identify and correct problems in the network while maintaining logs and records associated with reported problems or situations.\n\nPrepares troubleshooting procedures for restoring the network to optimal performance levels.\n\nDevelops and documents standard operating procedures (SOP) for use by technical support staff.\n\nProvides fault management for the network and supports performance management functions.\n\nQualifications\nClearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.\nDegree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.\n10 years of experience preferred with several years focusing specifically on data center networking and technologies.\nRequired Certifications:\nProfessional or expert level certifications (at a minimum CCNP, F5-CTS or JNCIP) - CCIE/F5-CSE/JNCIE preferred.\n\nRequired Skills:\nSME level understanding and experience with dynamic routing protocols to include OSPF and BGP.\n\nSME level understanding of data center technologies. Familiarity with EVPN, VXLAN, Cisco vPC, ACI, F5 load balancing and RSTP is a plus.\n\nExperience with Cisco, F5, Juniper and Palo Alto hardware and operating systems is a plus.\n\nUnderstanding and experience analyzing TCP/UDP application flow using external network analyzers along with built-in network switch/router diagnostic tools.\n\nFamiliarity with DoW STIGs and SD-WAN.\n\nExperience with MS Visio and documenting network architectures and application flows.\n\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\n\nEffective at communicating technical ideas through presentations, documentation, meetings.\n\nLearn and evaluate new technologies.\n\nThe candidate will be responsible for managing their own projects from start to finish so initiative, time management, and attention to detail are critical traits and skills.\n\nAbout Abile Group, Inc.\nAbile Group, founded in July 2004 to support the Intelligence Community and its contractors across Enterprise Analytics, IT & Systems Engineering, and Program & Project Management, merged with Valiant Solutions in January 2026 - an established provider of cybersecurity technologies and services for Federal Agencies since 2005.
