All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.\nThe right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.\nResponsibilities\nDesigns and defines system architecture for new or existing compute systems.\nPerforms complex systems engineering design work that may include but not limited to, compute architecture analysis and design, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, hardware break/fix, and implementing best security practices within the ESXi Virtual Hosted Environment.\nPlans upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancements.\nDevelops documentation on new or existing systems.\nDevelops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.\nIdentifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.\nProvides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.\nDetermines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.\nProvides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers and may have supervisory responsibility.\nMay serve as a technical team or task lead.\nServes as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.\nMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.\nParticipates in special projects as required.\nQualifications\nClearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.\nDegree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related systems engineering experience. (Additional Education, Training, Certifications or Work Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience).\nRequired Certifications:\n8140.01M IAT Level II certification.\nRequired Skills:\nInstall, configure and manage VMware virtualization environment components (vSphere, VMware Aria Automation (vRA) VMware Aria Operations (vROPs), ESXi, NSX/NSX-T).\nProvide Operation and Sustainment support for the virtualization environment.\nEnsure virtualization systems are compliant within required security standards.\nDevelop and maintain O&S Standard Operating Procedures for VMware virtualization environment.\nSupport diagnoses and troubleshooting of problems with the virtualization environment including Microsoft Windows and Linux O/S systems.\nWithin established procedures, responds to end user requests for technical support and assistance.\nSupport off-hours maintenance activities.\nSupport the Certification and Accreditation process for virtualization hosts.\nGain familiarity with current data center infrastructure.\nMaintain current industry knowledge of development concepts, practices and procedures.\nDevelop an in-depth understanding of the program baseline capabilities, design and objectives.\nHands-on experience designing and implementing VMware Aria Operations and/or Log Insight in a production environment, to include developing policies and custom dashboards.\nAdvanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.\nKnowledge of the current industry hardware, software, and equipment.\nProfessional certification in one or more relevant technologies.\nVMware ESX 6.7/7.0/8.0.\nVMware Aria Operations 8.X.\nVMware Aria Automation 8.X.\nVMware NSX/NSX-T\nWindows Server 2016/2019/2022.\nUnix/Linux familiarity.\nWindows 10/11.\nTCP/IP, DNS, Local Area Networking, AD, GPO.\nShould have current VMware and/or Cisco UCS experience in their current job or within the last 2 years, with VMware and/or UCS certification preferred, but not required.\nDesired Skills:\nCloud experience (AWS, Azure).\nCisco UCS Cloud Platform.\nVMware NSX/NSX-T.\nExperience creating and implementing workflows and blueprints for use with VMware Aria Automation solution.\nService Now Experience a plus.\nTechnical written & verbal communication skills (technical writing).\nExperience supporting Intelligence and/or DoW Customers.\nAbout Abile Group, Inc.\nAbile Group, founded in July 2004 to support the Intelligence Community and its contractors across Enterprise Analytics, IT & Systems Engineering, and Program & Project Management, merged with Valiant Solutions in January 2026 - an established provider of cybersecurity technologies and services for Federal Agencies since 2005.
