maintains a healthy and safe environment at Abilities Centre through outstanding cleanliness.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nMaintain\nYou will maintain a physical presence throughout the facility, ensuring that areas are kept clean, fully stocked, and free of debris.\nYou will maintain the complex in a manner which reduces the complex's liability for Slip and Fall Hazards.\nClean\nYou will sweep, mop, scrub, remove debris dirt and any refuse, empty waste containers, wash windows, interior/exterior walls, clean and disinfect washroom and fixtures. \nYou will clean carpets, rugs, mats, and upholstered furniture. \nYou will scrub, mop, and wax floors as required or as scheduled by the Director, Facilities, or designate.\nEvent Support\nYou will perform event cleaning and support the setup and take down of all associated furniture and fixtures.\nProfessionalism\nYou will comply with all company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures at all times. \nYou will perform all duties in accordance with the highest professional standards at all times. \nYou will perform other duties as required by the Director, Facilities, or designate.\nWhat You Bring:\nEnergy and Experience \nThis job is in a large building and will include movement such as bending, stooping, crawling, pushing, and lifting/moving equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.\nThis job supports the health and safety of the organization and will require knowledge and application of W.H.M.I.S.\nHaving previous experience cleaning and using auto scrubbers / floor cleaning machines is considered an asset.\nProfessional
