Services provided are day, residential, short breaks, community support, rehabilitative training, and multi-disciplinary support. Purpose of the Role
- To provide transport cover as required when permanent drivers are unavailable due to annual leave or other short-notice absences.
- Provision of transport as required for service users e.g., outings, swimming etc. as directed by the manger of Ancillary Services.
- To drive the vehicle in a safe manner in accordance with the Rules of the road and relevant Road Traffic Acts which may be in operation.
- Be responsible for the general upkeep of the bus and ensure that it is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Essential Requirements
- A full, clean B, D &D1 driving licence.
- Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to provide cover at short notice are key.
- Evidence of the Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence.
