Services provided are day, residential, short breaks, community support, rehabilitative training, and multi-disciplinary support. The ethos of service provision is underpinned by our Vision, Mission, Core Values and Strategic Plan, which is to empower people with disabilities to live self-directed lives in an equal and inclusive society. Each person is supported and valued within an environment which promotes their overall autonomy, health and wellbeing and enables them to reach their potential.\nThe Role:\n· Provide, under direction, instruction in a variety of areas including, arts, crafts, social skills, woodwork, cookery, horticulture, and\nindependent living skills depending on people we support’ preferences and ability.\n· Instruct on courses that will include specific skills as well as social development, personal care and community integration.\n· Work as part of a team where work may be of a flexible nature and duties interrelate and overlap.\n· To establish and maintain relationships with people we support that are based on respect and equality and that promotes their\nindependence.\nEssential Criteria:\n· Experience in working with and supporting people we support who can present with behaviours that challenge.\n· An ability to instruct people we support in all programmes offered at Day Centres.\n· Full current driving license and ability to drive an manual car.\n· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n· Strong problem-solving skills.\n· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills\nWhat We Are offering\nAs part of our staff team you will be supported by regular support and supervision and access to the Employee Assistance Program.\nA wide variety of on the job training with core training interventions like Studio III and medication training.\nHave an opportunity to work in a person centred organisation and make a positive difference to people’s lives and communities.\nA supportive and inclusive work environment where your ideas and input are valued\nThe opportunity to grow and develop professionally in this role through training and experience.\nContributory pension scheme of 7%\nFlexible benefits and above statutory minimum\nCandidates must be eligible to work in Ireland\nSalary Range -
