 About this opportunity

We are looking for an Intermediate Project Manager to lead cross-functional technology initiatives that support business priorities and deliver measurable impact. This role is responsible for translating objectives into structured execution plans, coordinating multiple teams, and ensuring programs are delivered with clarity, quality, and predictability.

The ideal candidate combines strong program management fundamentals, technical understanding, business acumen, and effective stakeholder management. This person is able to navigate ambiguity, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate teams to drive execution.

The Intermediate Project Manager will typically be assigned to programs with moderate complexity and low to moderate business criticality, working primarily with cross-functional teams and managers. The role requires strong ownership and autonomy within the assigned scope, with the ability to recognize when topics require leadership escalation.

  • Translate business and technology objectives into clear program plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Business teams to ensure effective execution.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program-level risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate alignment and decision-making within the program scope by bringing structured analysis, context, and recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate program governance, tracking mechanisms, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders across different functions and, when applicable, markets and time zones.
  • Ensure programs are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, quality, and business expectations.
  • Provide clear visibility into program progress, risks, dependencies, key decisions, and next steps.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through influence, without direct authority.
  • Navigate ambiguity within the program scope and create clarity around priorities, ownership, timelines, and actions.
  • Recognize which topics can be resolved independently and which require leadership escalation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program management practices, execution processes, and team ways of working.
  • Partner with Senior Program Managers and leadership on more complex or strategically critical initiatives when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Program Management, Project Management, Product Management, or related roles within technology organizations.
  • Experience coordinating software development or technology initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to manage dependencies across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Business teams.
  • Experience driving initiatives from planning through delivery and post-launch stabilization.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
  • Ability to identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable execution plans.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability for program outcomes.
  • Ability to operate autonomously within the assigned scope and appropriately escalate critical topics.
  • Professional proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken, with the ability to participate in meetings and effectively communicate with stakeholders.

  • Experience in Payments, Fintech, E-commerce, or Digital Platforms.
  • Experience working on multi-market or global initiatives.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, distributed systems, transaction processing, or financial operations.
