Job description
Ableneo is looking for Test Automation Engineer (M/F) to join our technology team and work on software development projects for our clients.
You will work on software development projects for our clients across different industries and technology environments, depending on your experience and expertise.
What you'll do:
Design, develop and maintain automated tests
Create and maintain automated test scenarios and frameworks
Automate testing of web applications, backend services and APIs
Analyse test results and identify defects
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Work closely with developers, QA engineers and other team members
Contribute to improving test automation processes and overall software quality
Requirements
Personality requirements and skills
2-3+ years of experience in software testing / test automation
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar
Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI
Good knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or similar
Understanding of REST APIs and SQL
Experience with Git and CI/CD
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
Good understanding of QA methodologies and test processes
Good communication skills and English at B2+ level
Slovak or Czech language
Nice to have:
Experience with performance testing
Experience with enterprise applications
Experience with cloud or containerized environments
Experience from banking, insurance, telco or similar environments
