This is an opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys combining auditing, program development, regulatory compliance, incident analysis, and employee training to create safer workplaces across a large and dynamic organization.\nIn this role, you'll partner closely with Safety and Operations leaders to develop practical, compliant, and effective safety programs that reduce risk, improve performance, and strengthen ABM's safety culture. You'll have the opportunity to influence safety strategy across multiple business groups while ensuring programs remain aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise safety programs.\nDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, policies, procedures, training materials, and safety guidance documents.\nMonitor federal and state OSHA regulations and assess potential impacts to operations.\nEvaluate existing safety programs for regulatory compliance, effectiveness, and alignment with industry best practices, including conducting gap assessments as needed.\nCreate engaging safety training and educational resources that promote safe work practices and compliance.\nAnalyze safety performance metrics, audit findings, incident trends, and leading indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.\nReview incident investigations, root-cause findings, OSHA investigations, and corrective actions to strengthen safety programs and prevent recurrence.\nConduct and support safety audits, assessments, and program reviews to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.\nPartners with Operations and Safety teams to provide practical safety guidance and align safety priorities with business objectives.\nWhat Makes You Successful\nExperience in safety program management, regulatory compliance, auditing, or occupational safety leadership.\nStrong background developing safety policies, procedures, SOPs, and training programs.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and their application in operational environments.\nAbility to translate regulatory requirements and industry standards into practical, easy-to-follow safety programs.\nSkilled at leveraging audit results, incident data, root-cause analyses, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.\nPassion for creating programs that go beyond compliance and help build a strong culture of safety.\nAttributes Needed\nAssociate or bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health Technology, Industrial Hygiene, Business, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in safety and regulatory compliance.\nExperience developing safety policies, procedures, or training materials.\nWorking knowledge of federal and state OSHA regulations.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbove-average proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience with ISO 45001.\n\nMultilingual capabilities.\n\nExperience with Zavanta or other document management software.\n\nExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).\n\nOSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 training.\n\nMicrosoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.\n\nUp to 10% local travel, generally 1-2 days per month.\n\nWhy Join ABM?\nOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee safety across a national organization.\nHigh-visibility role partnering with leaders across multiple business groups.\nAbility to influence strategic EH&S initiatives, safety standards, and program direction.\nCollaborative environment focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.\nCompetitive compensation, bonus opportunity, and comprehensive benefits package.\nBenefits\nABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.
