For information about ABM’s benefits, visit Annual Benefits-Staff and Management\nThe Maintenance Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC and related equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost-effective manner.\nShift: Wednesday to Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Plus OT as needed)\n Key Responsibilities:\nPerform general handyman tasks (patch and paint walls, install corner guards and kick plates, replace ceiling tiles, basic carpentry repairs and/or repair or replace carpet, hang/install pictures, electronics, and anchors, door repairs, exterior pressure washing).\n\nConduct basic plumbing repairs (unclog sinks/toilets, replace flush sensors, faucets).\n\nSupport engineering team (HVAC filter replacement, lighting maintenance, inventory management and restocking supplies).\n\nEngage with building occupants regarding repairs and ticket updates.\n\nEscort vendors and assist with event setup/furniture moves as needed.\n\nResponding promptly to facility emergencies, spills, leaks, hazards, and other urgent conditions.\n\nAssessing problems, troubleshooting equipment or facility issues, and taking appropriate corrective action within the scope of the role.\n\nEscalating issues with clear details, recommended next steps, and a sense of urgency when additional support is required.\n\nSupporting emergency cleanup and recovery efforts to restore safe operations.\n\nCompleting work orders accurately, safely, and within established service expectations.\n\nPerforming routine inspections and addressing concerns before they become larger operational issues.\n\nAssisting with housekeeping, cleanup, and general facility needs when additional support is required.\n\nMaintaining tools, equipment, mechanical spaces, storage areas, and work zones in a clean and orderly condition.\n\nCoordinating with facility leaders, vendors, and other teams to resolve issues efficiently.\n\nCommunicating status, risks, delays, and completed work clearly and promptly.\n\nTaking ownership of issues from identification through resolution rather than assuming they belong to someone else.\n\nIdentifying recurring problems and recommending improvements that increase safety, reliability, efficiency, or service quality.\n\nSupporting a safe, clean, reliable, and client-ready environment at all times.\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar environment or facility management setting.\n\nBasic knowledge of general maintenance tasks and hand tools.\n\nFamiliarity with work order systems (Corrigo, ServiceNow, or similar).\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with facility managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors.\n\nCustomer-focused mindset and commitment to meeting service level agreements
