performance monitoring. \nTrain new and existing employees on proper floor care techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols. \nInspect floors regularly to ensure cleanliness and identify areas needing attention or repair. \nOperate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and burnishers. \nEnsure proper use of chemicals and cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines. \nMaintain inventory of floor care supplies and request replenishments as needed. \nRespond to emergency clean-up situations and coordinate appropriate response. \nEnsure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations. \nProvide feedback and coaching to team members to improve performance and efficiency. \nPrepare reports on floor care activities, incidents, and maintenance needs. \n High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in custodial or janitorial services preferred. \n4+ years of experience in floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. \n2+ year of supervisory or team lead experience in a custodial or facilities setting. \nKnowledge of floor care equipment and maintenance procedures. \nStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. \nAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed. \nPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks. \nEssential Skills for a Floor Tech Supervisor Technical Skills\nFloor Care Expertise: Proficient in stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning. \nEquipment Operation: Skilled in using and maintaining floor care machines (e.g., auto scrubbers, extractors, buffers). \nChemical Knowledge: Understanding of cleaning agents, dilution ratios, and safety data sheets (SDS). \nSafety Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe handling of equipment and chemicals. \nLeadership & Supervisory Skills\nTeam Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team of floor technicians. \nTraining & Development: Capable of training staff on procedures, safety, and equipment use. \nConflict Resolution: Skilled in addressing personnel issues and maintaining team harmony. \nPerformance Evaluation: Experience in monitoring and improving employee performance. \nOrganizational Skills\nScheduling: Efficient in creating and managing work schedules and shift coverage. \nInventory Management: Keeping
