testing of electrical power equipment and systems. \nTest, inspect, evaluate, troubleshoot, maintain, and document: \nLow-, medium-, and high-voltage switchgear \nProtective relays \nPower transformers \nInstrument transformers \nCircuit breakers \nMotor control centers \nAutomatic transfer switches \nPower cables \nBattery systems \nGrounding systems \nProtective and control systems \nAnalyze test data and determine equipment condition, serviceability, and recommended corrective actions. \nPerform advanced troubleshooting of electrical power systems and equipment. \nLead field activities on assigned projects and coordinate work with customers, project managers, and subcontractors. \nReview project specifications, testing procedures, one-line diagrams, and construction documents. \nPerform and supervise electrical switching activities within assigned qualifications and company procedures. \nPrepare and review field reports, test documentation, deficiency reports, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and pre-task planning activities. \nTrain, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Testing Technician I and Testing Technician II personnel. \nSupport emergency response activities, outages, startup activities, commissioning projects, and critical shutdowns. \nServe as a technical resource for customers and internal stakeholders. \n Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED. \nMinimum 5-8 years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, field service, industrial maintenance, utility operations, power generation, data center operations, or related electrical power systems work. \nDemonstrated experience independently performing electrical testing and troubleshooting activities. \nStrong understanding of: \nElectrical theory \nAC and DC power systems \nProtective relaying \nPower distribution systems \nPower quality concepts \nElectrical equipment operation and maintenance \nAbility to read and interpret: \nOne-line diagrams \nThree-line diagrams \nSchematics \nProtection and control drawings \nEquipment specifications \nConstruction documents \nExperience interpreting and evaluating electrical test results. \nWorking knowledge of:
