readiness for duty.\nMonitor fleet status, including assigned, spare, parked, and out-of-service vehicles.\nCoordinate daily driver and vehicle assignments to maintain route coverage.\nManage meal and restroom break coverage to minimize service disruptions.\nEnsure drivers notify supervision before leaving routes for breaks or operational needs.\nCoordinate relief drivers and vehicle substitutions as needed.\nVerify shift-change vehicle inspections and documentation.\nIdentify, document, and report vehicle defects, maintenance concerns, damage, and safety issues.\nRemove unsafe vehicles from service and coordinate replacements.\nMonitor attendance, tardiness, call-outs, no-call/no-shows, and early departures.\nArrange staffing coverage while controlling unnecessary overtime and temporary labor usage.\nMaintain shift records and provide thorough shift handoffs.\nSubmit operational status reports to the Shuttle Operations Manager.\nMonitor route performance and respond to service disruptions and customer concerns.\nEnforce appearance, conduct, customer service, and workplace standards.\nAddress routine performance issues and escalate formal corrective actions.\nPromote a workplace free from favoritism, inappropriate conduct, and disruptive conflicts.\nFoster teamwork, integrity, accountability, respect, and urgency.\nRespond to accidents, incidents, breakdowns, emergencies, and passenger concerns.\nEnsure all attendance, maintenance, inspection, incident, and operational records are completed accurately and on time.\nCoordinate vehicle transportation to maintenance vendors as directed.\nMaintain accountability for fuel, vehicles, keys, and equipment.\nReinforce compliance with DOT, state, client, ABM, and safety requirements.\nPerform other transportation-related supervisory duties as assigned.\n Minimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nValid driver's license with acceptable driving record.\nAbility to pass MVR review, background screening, and drug testing.\nPrevious supervisory or team-lead experience overseeing approximately 12-15 employees.\nCustomer service experience.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with employees, customers, management, vendors, and client representatives.\nAbility to make timely decisions in a fast-paced transportation environment.\nAbility to maintain accurate records and required documentation.\nBasic computer proficiency, including email, Microsoft Teams, Excel, timekeeping, or similar business systems.\nAbility to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.\nAbility to operate shuttle vehicles when qualified and operationally necessary.\nDemonstrated commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBilingual (English/Spanish).\nFive or more years of shuttle, transit, passenger transportation, fleet, or related experience.\nTransportation operations, dispatch, or fleet supervision experience.\nAssociate degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Safety, or a related field.\nExperience supervising commercial drivers.\nExperience with fleet readiness, preventive maintenance, inspections, and maintenance tracking.\nExperience managing schedules, attendance, overtime, and staffing coverage.\nKnowledge of DOT and state driving regulations.\nExperience in contracted transportation, airports, corporate shuttles, industrial campuses, or similar high-volume environments.\nExperience with dispatch, GPS, transportation management, workforce management, or timekeeping systems.\nCPR, First Aid, defensive driving, or related safety
