We're here to help!\nABM is currently recruiting for a Part-Time, Permanent Cleaning Supervisor for an immediate start in Loretto College in Coleraine, County Londonderry.\nPurpose:\nAssist with the smooth running of the business on a day to day basis. Support the ABM Management team to meet the customer’s needs. Drive forward quality in standards, maintaining excellence and compliance to policy & regulatory requirements at all times.\nShift Time:\nMonday-Friday\n17.5 hours from 2:15 PM to 5:45 PM\nKey responsibilities\nService Provision:\nEnsure the delivery of services to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the customer, within the scope of the contract.\nReact in a timely manner to any issues that arise and support their resolution.\nContinually assess the need for and monitor the availability and serviceability of all uniforms, site-specific clothing, PPE, equipment and materials.\nAppropriate allocation of staff to ensure site schedule and specification are met.\nPeople Supervisor and Development:\nAssist with the recruitment, training, and daily management of Operatives.\nManage attendance appropriately, and escalate issues to Line Manager.\nBe dynamic in leading the team to deliver best in class customer service.\nCreate a harmonious working environment and proactively identify conflict at the source, escalating as appropriate.\nMaintain a fair and inclusive working environment, free from discrimination or prejudice.\nEnsure you are visible and contactable whilst on duty.\nBusiness Administration:\nEnsure time sheets are completed correctly and on time.\nEnsure that all records relating to employment are completed and sent to appropriate Manager.\nManage the holiday schedule for staff, whilst maintaining required levels of service provision.\nValidate proof of delivery on orders received, escalate any discrepancies and support resolution.\nQuality Management and Health and Safety:\nEnsure and promote a safe working environment.\nCarry out training, including tool box training, where appropriate.\nBe aware of all company policies and procedures, as per employee handbook.\nReport all incidents, accidents and near-misses in line with policy.\nComplete relevant audits and questionnaires, and take remedial actions where improvement is required.\nUpdate site manual as requested.\nOther:\nSupport the growth of the business, where possible, by up-selling and cross-selling to the customer and by passing on potential sales leads,\nSupport any customer initiatives which could lead to longer term benefits to both the customer and ABM.\nAny other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested by a member of the ABM Management team.\nSkills and Experience\nEssentia Criteria:\nWilling to work flexible hours.\nAbility to work under pressure.\nAbility to pass security requirements/vetting.\nEligibility to work in Ireland.\nGood written and spoken English.\nDesired Experience:\nSchool leaving standard qualifications in Maths and English.\nExperience within the relevant industry, or a similar environment.\nExperience of staff supervision.\nExperience working within a results-oriented environment.\nTime spent in a customer service environment.\nFull clean driving licence.\nDesired Skills:\nIT literate including knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.\nMotivational skills and influencing skills.\nGood communicator, able to convey information in a clear, simple and warm manner.\nAbility to motivate and actively support team members.\nAble to diffuse and handle difficult situations/people.\nExcellent customer care skills.\nAttitude and Motivation:\nConfident.\nFlexible, reliable, responsible, calm under pressure.\nPositive and supporting of site needs/requirements.\nA desire to provide a professional service and to build a successful team.\nWilling to continue professional development and to develop the role.\nWilling to undergo, and provide where appropriate, training/coaching in line with organisational
