We're here to help!\nROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE\nElectrically biased trades person based on site undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, and building fabric. Based at LCY3 but may be asked to assist other nearby sites as required.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nMulti-skilled trades person (preferably Electrically biased but will consider non-electrical multi-skilled)\nbased on site undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) installation and repair of mechanical\n& electrical equipment and building fabric. The role is client-facing, so we will need someone with a\nproactive, can-do attitude and strong communication and IT skills.\nMain Duties:\nTo carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Contract Manager. Including,\nbut not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical building\nservices equipment; and other electrical duties in support of the rest of the client team. Duties will\nalso include carrying out various non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks.\nTo close / update completed PPM tasks on the site computerised maintenance system.\nEnsure engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operation effectiveness and\nreliability of the plant and associated systems.\nCarry out small electrical installation work.\nFabric works\nSetting up event space, offices etc.\nTo ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.\nEnsure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.\nMaintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works\nTo inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call-outs/repairs as required, and\nrequested by management\nCarry out tasks within typical plant room & office environments All access and PPE will be provided\nKeep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.\nTo proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive\napproach.\nComply with ABM Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, as detailed in the site plans.\nComplete any other associated task requested by the management. This may include taking part\nsecurity related tasks such as assisting with searches of the premises.\nRequirements\nCity & Guilds/NVQ - Building Services Engineering or Electrical Installation/Maintenance or\nequivalent\nCity & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE 18th Edition\nA demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering\nCustomer service\nSmart appearance, presentable\nLogical thinker in fault finding situations\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nComfortable working within a team or by himself.
