You play a key role in ensuring that ABN AMRO Clearing Bank remains compliant with regulatory obligations under EMIR and SFTR (Regulatory Reporting II team) or MiFIR transaction reporting, CSDR settlement discipline reporting, Commodity Position Reporting, SRO requirements (such as Large Trader Reporting, Gross Customer Margin Reporting and Closeout Reporting), and REMIT reporting for energy-related transactions (Regulatory Reporting I team) while driving the digitization and optimization of reporting processes and data flows.\nYour job\nAs a Business Developer, you are responsible for translating regulatory requirements, business needs, and operational challenges into clear and actionable objectives for IT Engineers. You analyse existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future-state solutions that increase efficiency, transparency, and data quality across the reporting chain.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve regulatory reporting processes, data quality, and system capabilities.\nAnalyze new and changing EMIR and SFTR or MiFIR regulatory requirements and translate them into business and functional requirements.\nWork closely with IT developers and data engineers to translate business requirements into clear development objectives.\nIdentify data quality issues and process inefficiencies and develop sustainable solutions that also address future regulatory requirements.\nPerform impact assessments and business analyses for regulatory and strategic initiatives.\nContribute to the design and maintenance of reporting controls, reconciliations, and monitoring frameworks.\nChallenge requirements where necessary and prioritize solutions that align with the roadmap of the team\nTake ownership of projects and deliver change initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and post-release evaluation.\nWorking environment\nYou work closely with Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, and other IT teams to ensure that regulatory changes are implemented effectively and that reporting solutions remain robust, scalable, and compliant.
