Your focus is on providing independent risk oversight, strengthening control discipline and helping senior stakeholders make informed decisions on platform resilience and technology risk. You will also guide the organization in secure-by-design implementation of new technologies and environments. And you oversee and support process discipline for the relevant maintenance and development processes around these technologies. You contribute to a secure, stable and always-on service delivery towards our clients, and as such to a stable society.\nYour job\nYou will:\nProvide independent oversight of stable maintenance and secure configuration of our core platforms and infrastructural technologies; \nChallenge and advise 1st line teams on risk posture, controls, remediation and action plans; \nTranslate findings into concise reporting and clear recommendations for senior stakeholders; \nPerform independent risk assessments of key platform and infrastructure domains; \nReview and challenge remediation plans, control improvements and risk acceptances; \nIdentify recurring risk themes and translate them into practical improvement actions; \nPrepare concise reporting for senior stakeholders and risk governance forums; \nSupport maturity improvements in platform and technology risk oversight; \nWork with and help the rest of your team to perform and grow. \nYou are comfortable with complex infrastructural environments, are up-to-date with new developments, and are able to build trust with your stakeholders. You are an experienced risk manager and are able to find the right balance between independent oversight and constructive dialogue and cooperation. Within Risk Management, the CRO IT & Cyber function provides 2nd line oversight of IT risk, information security, cyber security, and outsourcing risk. With this role, that scope expands to digital and operational resilience risk. We provide independent challenge and guidance to the 1st line, focusing on the risks that matter most and on emerging threats.\nYour profile\nMust-have\nStrong understanding of infrastructure, platforms, cloud and IT management processes; \nExperience with Microsoft cloud services, private cloud and networking; \nSenior-level technology risk management experience; \nExperience with second-line oversight, control challenge and senior stakeholder engagement; \nStrong communication skills in Dutch and English; \nAbility to operate independently and deliver within a fixed assignment timeframe; \nGood communication and stakeholder management skills in English; \nTeam-player mindset, both within your team and with the wider infrastructure community; \nStrong analytical skills, sound judgement and the ability to cut through complexity; \nA hands-on mindset, quality-delivery within appropriate timelines, the ability to deliver. \nPreferred\nFamiliarity with digital operational resilience, cyber resilience, IT control frameworks or regulatory expectations; \nExperience in banking or another highly regulated environment; \nTechnical (amongst other Mainframe) expertise; \nProficiency in Dutch is preferred but not required. \nWe are offering\nWe offer a permanent role in a newly created team with a clear strategic purpose.
