below:\n\nJob Title: Engineering - Drilling Engineer / Specialist III \n\nLocation: Lagos \n\nEmployment Type: Contract\n\nMain Functions\n\nProvide the engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up required for the safe and efficient drilling and completing of drilling programs.\nProvide technical expertise on drilling engineering to the Operations and Development teams.\nEnsure well objectives are met while assuring the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection are applied.\n\nTasks and Responsibilities\n\nIn addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 will:\n\nPrepare Drilling Basis of Design documentation including Casing Design, Torque / Drag, Hydraulics\nDevelop functional specifications and scopes of work for equipment and services\nMake continuous effort to improve regional well construction performance.\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n\nExperience with well design software as well as Microsoft applications\nAble to effectively organize and communicate thoughts\nRead, write and speak fluent English\nIndustry experience with well planning and execution.\nExperience with well planning and execution\nB.Sc Degree in Engineering or related technical field\nExperience with international assignments required\nExperience in deep water drilling operations if filling a deep water drilling engineering position\n\nHow to
