You'll build strategic messaging, partner with Sales Enablement and Marketing across every stage of the buyer's journey, and serve as a go-to subject matter expert on the email security market for customers and analysts.\nYou'll be doing this during one of the more exciting stretches in the company's history: we're growing 40%+ year over year, protecting more than 4,500 customers including over 25% of the Fortune 500, and expanding fast from email into identity, AI security, and insider threat. That means more products to launch, more narrative to shape, and more impact to make than you would at a mature market leader.\nYou're a strategic marketer with real technical curiosity and a gift for explaining cybersecurity concepts to buyers without losing the nuance. You write compelling, external-facing content, thrive in fast-paced environments with frequent launches, and influence stakeholders at every level. You listen closely, empathize with customers, and are driven by business impact and the success of our customers and partners.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop compelling, differentiated product messaging and positioning that makes Abnormal's approach impossible to confuse with anyone else's.\nLead internal and external product launches across sales enablement, press, digital, and other channels.\nPartner with Marketing teams to drive demand and pipeline through acquisition and upsell messaging aligned to the buyer's journey.\nOwn end-to-end launch strategies for incremental updates and feature releases, not just the big moments.\nCreate and maintain product content, including collateral, thought leadership, solution presentations, website content, videos, and blogs.\nConduct customer research to understand what buyers need and let it sharpen the messaging.\nEnable sales teams and channel partners on product value and joint solutions.\nRepresent Abnormal as a speaker in external forums.\nMust Haves\n5+ years experience producing written content for buyers, ideally within cybersecurity, with samples available.\nExperience managing product launches in high-velocity environments.\nStrong technical curiosity and the ability to explain complex concepts to buyers clearly.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nA strategic mindset, with the ability to execute independently and efficiently.\nAbility to influence internal and external stakeholders across organizational levels.\nStrong listening skills, empathy, and a collaborative mindset.\nPassion for Abnormal's mission and a commitment to customer and partner success.\nActual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.\nIn addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.\nBase salary range:\n$122,400—$176,000 USD\nA note on AI in our process: \n Abnormal AI uses AI-assisted tools to help our recruiting team prepare for candidate interviews.
