As a member of the in-house studio, you'll play a key role in bringing our visual identity to life across a wide range of touchpoints, including campaigns and digital surfaces to social, events, and brand content.\nThis is a hands-on execution role for a designer who is comfortable working across a broad spectrum of asset types and moving fluidly between projects. You care deeply about craft and quality, you're comfortable taking direction and running with it, and you thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. You bring a genuine curiosity for how AI tools can accelerate and elevate your creative process.\nWhat You Will Do\nProduce high-quality design assets across brand touchpoints, including web, campaigns, social, events, and print.\nExecute creative across a variety of formats and asset types, working from briefs, established design systems, and creative direction.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and web partners to deliver cohesive, on-brand creative.\nContribute to web-forward creative execution across digital surfaces and campaigns, demonstrating fluency in how design systems translate to the web.\nActively integrate AI tools into your creative workflow, using them to accelerate production, explore options, and push the work further.\nMaintain brand consistency across all deliverables, ensuring work aligns with Abnormal AI's visual identity standards.\nManage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and communicating proactively on timelines and capacity.\nMust Haves\n3-5 years of relevant design experience, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency backgrounds.\nA portfolio demonstrating strong craft across digital, brand, and campaign work, with clear evidence of web capability.\nComfortable executing across a wide variety of asset types and moving fluidly between campaign, digital, brand, and web work.\nWeb fluency: not necessarily a UI/UX specialist, but comfortable with web-forward creative execution and able to show strong web work in your portfolio.\nActively uses AI tools as part of your creative practice, spanning ideation, production, and workflow. You bring genuine curiosity and a point of view on how AI can make your work better and faster.\nStrong foundational design skills: typography, color, composition, and visual storytelling.\nProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and similar design tools.\nComfortable working from briefs and creative direction, with an ability to interpret ambiguity and ask the right clarifying questions.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects without dropping the ball.\nA collaborative, low-ego approach. You work well with others, take feedback graciously, and care about the team's output as much as your own.\nNice to Haves\nExperience working on AI, cybersecurity, or highly technical brands.\nMotion design skills or experience collaborating with animation teams.\nFamiliarity with production workflows for video or experiential design.\nActual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.\nIn addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.\nBase salary range:\n$99,500—$143,000 USD\nA note on AI in our process: \n Abnormal AI uses AI-assisted tools to help our recruiting team prepare for candidate interviews.
