You will work closely with the Production team, APRI Departments, and external partners like the Philippine Geothermal Production Company (PGPC) and contractorsto deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nMonitor geothermal steam purity for all generating units to protect turbines and auxiliaries from corrosion, scaling, and clogging.\n\nMonitor recirculating cooling water parameters to prevent fouling and equipment corrosion, ensuring compliance with GRSSA provisions.\n\nCoordinate with steam and chemical suppliers for cooling water treatment programs, chemical deliveries, quality checks, and inventory management.\n\nPrepare, review, analyze, and evaluate laboratory results, maintaining physical and electronic technical reports for binary plant brine parameter monitoring and plant operations.\n\nEnsure proper storage and disposal of laboratory wastes in alignment with safety, environmental, health, and good housekeeping standards.\n\nTo Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:\nDemonstrates good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\n\nHas strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external contractors.\n\nPossesses good oral and written communication skills for technical reporting and inter-departmental coordination.\n\nExhibits strong attention to detail in ensuring accuracy, reliability, and purity of analyses/tests.\n\nWhat You Will Need:\nEducation & Experience:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or BS Chemical Engineering.\n\nExperience: At least two (2) years of relevant experience in chemical laboratory operation and maintenance.\n\nLicense Required: Registered Chemist\n\nTechnical / Functional Skills:\nProficiency in chemical laboratory operation, maintenance, and testing methods.\n\nComputer skills for analyzing, maintaining, and archiving electronic technical reports.\n\nKnowledge of chemical safety, environmental, health, and waste disposal standards.\n\nOur Culture & Commitment to You: Powering Your Future\nAt AboitizPower, we honor you not just as a professional, but as a person.
