You will work closely with Performance and Data Solutions to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nGeneration Forecasting and Modeling\nCreates and oversees short- and long-term generation and key performance indicator (KPI) forecasts and models in relation to current assumptions and status of resources across all RE Techs, future power plant and steam field plans, activities, and initiatives.\nPresents, justifies, and coordinates the final approval of generation forecasts and operational plans with the respective Renewable Technology General Managers.\nCoordinates actively with GEO Steam Suppliers, ROR Hydrologists, and Solar/Wind resource sources to factor in the resource forecast relative to all RE Techs.\nCoordinates with 1RE O&M for the 5-year Outage Plans, leading the optimization and rigorous sense-checking of these plans to maximize generation availability and validate their feasibility of execution for the business year.\nPower Plant Performance Improvement and Optimization\nDirects the development of statistical trend analyses of 1RE resource data and plant operational parameters to identify variances critical to plant efficiency across all technologies.\nMonitors and evaluates plant KPIs in support of creating operational strategies to achieve business objectives and targets.\nFuel and Resource Management\nMonitors, optimizes, and conducts strict sense-checking of fuel or resource input metrics (steam, irradiance, rainwater) against historical and expected baselines to ensure optimal energy conversion and plant efficiency.\nIdentify and implement strategies to minimize resource wastage, improve thermal efficiency, and ensure sustainable resource utilization.\nPerformance and Data Solutions Collaboration\nCollaborates with the Data Analytics team to develop, refine, and validate performance models for various renewable technologies (e.g., solar irradiance vs. output, wind speed vs. turbine efficiency).\nWorks jointly on developing predictive maintenance algorithms and performance forecasting models using different available softwares and technologies.\nSupports the integration of real-time dashboards and custom analytics tools that enhance visibility into plant performance and streamline decision-making.\nProcess Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement\nGuides and aligns cross-functional teams and performance engineers in technical problem solving, initiative design, and process improvements across forecasting workflows.\nLeads regular performance reviews and strategy sessions with key stakeholders (including General Managers) to align on issues, actions, and achievements regarding generation forecasts.\nOther Related Tasks\nComplies with company policies and procedures, safety rules and practices to ensure adherence to such.\nEnsures conformance to the company’s Integrated Management Systems, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.\nEnsures that the integrity and quality of reports whether intended for internal or external consumption is maintained.\nProtects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.\nTo Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:\nStrong process leadership and above average analytical skills.\nTechnical writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.\nExtensive knowledge on the resource management of multiple renewable energy technologies.\nWhat You Will Need:\nEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering\n5 years of experience in Renewable Energy\nLeadership: Two (2) years of process leadership or managing complex cross-functional initiatives (does not require formal direct reports).\nProject: Preferably with experience in resource forecasting technologies across multiple plant types.\nTechnical / Functional Skills:\nProficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace and Applications / Computer programming.\nStrong skills in forecasting processes, models, and cross-functional outputs.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You: Powering Your Future\nAt AboitizPower, we honor you not just as a professional, but as a person.
