You will work closely with internal operations, maintenance, asset management, and trading teams, as well as external entities like NGCP and grid partners, to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.\n\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\n\nStrict implementation of prescribed operational policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory compliance.\nMonitoring daily plant performance, identifying corrective/preventive maintenance actions, and ensuring execution of preventive maintenance programs.\nProper implementation of the Permit to Work (PTW) system and enforcing safety, health, and environmental policies.\nAdministrative and people management, including shift schedules, leave approvals, performance evaluations, and team development.\nLaboratory functions, fuel/lube oil analysis reviews, operational requests, and acting as Incident Commander during emergency response plans when on site.\nTo Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:\nDemonstrates strong leadership skills to oversee daily activities, evaluate performance, and recommend team growth and hiring initiatives.\nMaintains a strong commitment to safety, ISO management systems (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, Information Security), and regulatory compliance.\nDisplays sound decision-making abilities in monitoring plant performance, addressing operational deviations, and handling emergency situations.\nCollaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, external grid stakeholders, contractors, and supply chain partners.\n\nWhat You Will Need:\n\nEducation & Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.\nMust be a Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.\nAt least 5 years of related professional experience in a diesel power plant.\nAt least 2-3 years of leadership experience.\n\nTechnical / Functional Skills:\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Plant Operations Management, Safe Work Systems, Plant Performance Analysis, and Risk Assessment and Control.\nAdvanced skills in SCADA System Operations and Root Cause Analysis.\nIntermediate proficiency in CAPEX and OPEX Management.\n\nOur Culture & Commitment to You: Powering Your Future\nAt AboitizPower, we honor you not just as a professional, but as a person.
