You will work closely with the Procurement Operations team, internal end-users across all departments, and external suppliers and service providers to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\n Procurement Execution & Bidding: Review and scrutinize purchase requests (PRs) for completeness and technical correctness; organize and conduct competitive bidding among qualified/accredited vendors (securing at least three proposals), and prepare negotiations to achieve optimal commercial terms.\n Purchase Order Management & On-Time Delivery: Prepare, endorse, and transmit purchase orders (POs) and contracts within prescribed lead times; actively track pending orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure zero downtime or plant shutdowns due to material delays.\n Contract Administration & Importation: Administer service, maintenance, and yearly vendor agreements, while managing indent purchases by handling Importation Order Request Forms (IORF) and coordinating with logistics and customs leads.\nSupplier Performance & Quality Assurance: Evaluate supplier ratings based on cost, quality, lead time, and after-sales service; address rejections and delivery discrepancies quickly, and identify/accredit new supply sources.\nCompliance & Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure all procurement transactions comply with company purchasing policies, safety and environmental standards, and audit requirements, while maintaining clear, prompt communication with internal end-users regarding purchase statuses and budget inquiries.\nTo Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:\nDemonstrates strong analytical thinking to perform commercial and technical bid evaluations and assess total cost of ownership.\nMaintains high customer service orientation and open communication, proactively updating end-users and resolving inquiries or complaints with agility.\nExhibits resilience and adaptability to handle urgent procurement requests, tight project deadlines, and operational demands without compromising quality.\nPossesses sound negotiation and decision-making skills, ensuring awards align with the best interests of the business regarding quality, price, and schedule.\nWhat You Will Need:\nEducation & Experience:\n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Accounting / Commerce (for non-technical commodities)\n Professional License: Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license required for Engineering graduates\n Experience: Experience is not required (open to fresh graduates with strong technical and analytical aptitude)\nTechnical / Functional Skills:\nProficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with specialized procurement/purchasing software or ERP systems\nStrong foundation in technical/engineering specifications, supply market research, and commercial bid evaluation\nWorking knowledge of purchasing procedures, contract administration, and importation/customs processes\nOur Culture & Commitment to You: Powering Your Future\nAt AboitizPower, we honor you not just as a professional, but as a person.
