You will work closely with internal O&M, engineering, SCM, and HSE teams as well as external contractors and OEM suppliers to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nResponsible for the safe, reliable, and quality execution of approved brownfield project scope, schedule, and budget across sites.\nCollaborate with engineering, construction, supply chain, SHE, and project proponents to track progress, manage risks and opportunities, and escalate critical issues in a timely manner.\nManage project implementation by planning resources and schedules, acquiring internal approvals (such as Management of Change), and delivering Project Controls and Operations Readiness requirements.\nEnsure strict adherence to Occupational Safety & Health, environmental standards, and ISO management systems, executing Stop Work Authority when necessary and conducting safety walkthroughs.\nTo Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:\nPossesses strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders effectively.\nShows deep technical expertise in thermal energy systems, power project execution, and interpreting complex technical drawings and contracts.\nMaintains high standards of safety leadership, active risk identification, and commitment to compliance with quality and EHS policies.\nDemonstrates strong organization and business communication skills to maintain accurate project records and deliver executive status reporting.\n\nWhat You Will Need:\n Education & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (or a technical course graduate with >10 years of experience as a project engineer/manager).\nAt least 3 years of experience in project engineering within the power generation industry.\nAt least 2 years of experience in project management.\nExperience with OEM power generation equipment, gas-fired/LNG-to-power projects, plant maintenance practices, or reliability engineering is a strong plus.\nPMP certification and COSH (Safety Officer 2) training preferred.\n Technical / Functional Skills:\nProficiency in project management techniques, project dashboard tracking, and Management of Change (MoC) processes.\nStrong skills in thermal energy systems, combined cycle power plant operations/commissioning, and risk and opportunity management.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You: Powering Your Future At AboitizPower, we honor you not just as a professional, but as a person.
