You'll play a key role in ensuring equipment availability, minimising downtime and supporting safe port operations.\nShift Pattern: 39 hours Monday to Friday on days (0800 to 1200 one hour lunch then 1300 to 1700)\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.\nDiagnose and rectify electrical faults on port plant and equipment.\nUndertake installations, refurbishments, modifications and improvement projects.\nComplete maintenance records and work orders accurately through the maintenance management system.\nAssist with inspections, audits and compliance activities.\nProvide engineering support during breakdown situations and operational requirements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nTime-served Electrician with an engineering qualification such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent\nProven electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience\nStrong understanding of health & safety practices\nAbility to work at height and in a demanding industrial environment\nExperience using diagnostic and testing equipment\nFull UK Driving Licence\nFlexible approach to working hours and travel when required\n18th Edition Electrical Qualification\nThe role comes with a competitive salary, a contributory pension from day one (Starting at 3% with a 2% company match up to 18%), private healthcare, access to our Employee Assistance Program, 26 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and increasing with service), a wide range of discounts/cash back with high street and online retailers.
