With more than 13,000 employees around the world, we are committed to using our energy and heart to drive a better tomorrow.\nWe are looking for a BIM & Digital Systems Intern.\nWhat will you do:\nBIM & Other Digital Systems Implementation\nActively participate in the development and implementation of EDP's BIM strategy, learning from experts and contributing ideas and solutions that will help drive this transformation\nSupport the BIM Management Office (BMO) in development and implementation of tasks, participating in the daily BMO tasks and milestones.\nProvide day-to-day support to BIM end-users, helping them work efficiently with the design tools to achieve the BIM models and the documentation reporting and control in our Common Data Environment (Autodesk CDE).\nCollaborate with the BMO and other stakeholders to review and improve BIM-related documentation (such as the EIR, BIM Manual, and users support Guides), ensuring best practices are applied and shared.\nIdentify training needs. Prepare training documentation and keep it updated. Create detailed training videos and materials for new hires and existing employees. Develop and update training manuals, guides, and other instructional materials.\nParticipate in the implementation of BIM Data Model to achieve EDP data objectives.\nProvide functional support to end-users of other digital systems implemented at EDP-particularly those used for tracking Engineering & Construction (E&C) projects, such as planning and budget control-where the GTO-BIM department serves as the Product Owner \nSupport with the development of other tools, connections and integrations, and the different design workflows (Ex. CDE, GIS, DMS, Appian...).\nParticipate in specific tasks for the full digital solutions lifecycle: gather requirements, set objectives, plan, design architecture, develop, test, document, and deploy solutions.\nContinuously monitor, maintain, and enhance implemented solutions to ensure they deliver expected results.\nEmployment Type: Internship\nWork Site: Oviedo, Spain\nWhat are we looking for:\nBachelor/Graduate or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Renewable Energies, Electrical or any similar Engineering. \nStudies in data analytics, big data and data management will be considered, same as knowledge about renewable energies technologies such as wind or solar generation.\nKnowledge in BIM (Building Information Modeling)\nKnowledge in Autodesk BIM Design apps like Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, etc.\nKnowledge in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.\nAdvanced Spanish and English skills\nKnowledge in issue tracking and project management software application, e.g. Jira and Confluence is a plus. \nKnowledge of web platforms (such as LowCode (Outsystems) and Appian solutions) and APIs development is a plus. \nMore than academic knowledge and technical skills, we are looking for ambitious people who are enthusiastic about the future and who bring human skills aligned with our purpose.\nEqual opportunities for all\nOur vision is that each person combines their unique characteristics and experiences to fulfill our mission of creating new energy for the planet.
