With more than 13,000 employees around the world, we are committed to using our energy and heart to drive a better tomorrow.\nThe Transfer Pricing Intern will support the Transfer Pricing team in the day-to-day management of transfer pricing matters across the EDP Group. The role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in international taxation and transfer pricing through participation in compliance, documentation, data analysis and transfer pricing planning projects.\nThe intern will collaborate with team members in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, data collection and analysis, benchmarking activities and support for transfer pricing audits and other tax-related procedures. The role offers exposure to transfer pricing matters across multiple jurisdictions in Europe, North America, LATAM and APAC and contributes to the continuous development of transfer pricing governance within the Group\nWhat you will do:\nSupport the preparation, update and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies and supporting files across multiple jurisdictions.\nAssist in gathering, validating and analysing financial and operational data required for transfer pricing compliance and reporting purposes.\nSupport the monitoring of intercompany transactions and help ensure consistency with the Group's transfer pricing policies.\nAssist the team during transfer pricing audits, tax inspections and information requests from tax authorities.\nConduct research on transfer pricing legislation, OECD Guidelines, tax developments and relevant case law under the supervision of senior team members.\nCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR and other business areas to collect information required for transfer pricing analyses and documentation.\nSupport transfer pricing projects related to intercompany services, financial transactions, business restructurings and other strategic initiatives.\nPrepare presentations, reports, summaries and other materials to support the team's activities.\nPerform other related duties as required.\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\nWork Site: Lisbon or Madrid\nWhat are we looking for:\nFinal year student or recent graduate in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.\nBasic understanding of accounting and finance concepts.\nInterest in Transfer Pricing and International Taxation.\nGood Excel skills.\nStrong ability to work with large datasets and numerical information.\nGood research and analytical skills.\nProficiency level of English. \nStrong willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.\nProactive and collaborative mindset.\nAttention to detail and organisational skills.\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nTeam player with a positive attitude.\nCuriosity and interest in international business and taxation.\nMore than academic knowledge and technical skills, we are looking for ambitious people who are enthusiastic about the future and who bring human skills aligned with our purpose.\nEqual opportunities for all\nOur vision is that each person combines their unique characteristics and experiences to fulfill our mission of creating new energy for the planet.
