Acting as the escalation point for L1 analysts, the role plays acritical part in enhancing detection capabilities and strengthening incident response processes.\nIn addition, the position ensures the successful delivery and continuous optimization of managed security services. It combines deep technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, ensuring alignment with service-level agreements (SLAs), improving clients’ security posture, and driving ongoing service enhancements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSecurity Monitoring & Incident Response\nPerform advanced analysis and investigation of security alerts from SIEM platforms(e.g. Google SecOps).\nAct as escalation point for L1 analysts for complex incidents.\nLead incident response activities including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery.\nConduct threat hunting and proactive detection using threat intelligence and behavioral analytics.\nDetection Engineering &Continuous Improvement\nTune and enhance SIEM rules, use cases, and detection logic.\nSupport onboarding and validation of log sources and assets.\nDevelop and maintain SOC playbooks and response procedures.\nContinuously improve detection coverage aligned with frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).\nService Delivery & Client Engagement\nServe as a key point of contact for client security operations matters.\nEnsure SOC services are delivered in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.\nConduct regular reporting and service review sessions with clients.\nProvide actionable security recommendations based on findings and threat landscape.\nValidate onboarding of client infrastructure (log sources, assets, integrations).\nEnsure visibility across tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Threat Intel).\nReporting & Governance\nProduce detailed incident reports, executive summaries monthly reporting, and service metrics.\nTrack SLA performance, incident trends, and operational KPIs.\nSupport compliance, audit, and governance requirements\nCandidate requirements:\n3 – 6 years of experience in SOC operations, cybersecurity, or managed security services.\nHands-on experience with SIEM (Google Chronicle/SecOps preferred).\nStrong knowledge of:\nIncident response and threat analysis\nNetwork, endpoint, and cloud security\nMITRE ATT&CK framework\nExperience in client-facing or service delivery roles is highly preferred.\nFamiliarity with tools such as EDR/XDR (e.g. Crowdstrike, MS defender), TI (e.g. Cyble, GTI), JumpCloud, and cloud platforms.\nRelevant certifications (preferred):\nCompTIA Security+, CySA+\nCEH, GCIA, GCIH\nCISSP or CISM\nSkills\nSIEM, Triage, Use cases, Detection and Monitoring Application, Tools Development, Fast Recovery, First Point of Escalations, Threat Analysis, Threat Intelligence and Detection, IT knowledge, TI, Networking, Client Facing, Security Monitoring, Service Delivery, Security
