Description\nKey Accountabilities\nProgramme Leadership & Delivery\nLead end-to-end delivery of large-scale Business Banking programmes (multi-project, multi-stream)\nDefine programme scope, objectives, and delivery approach aligned to business strategy\nOversee programme planning, execution, and integration of all project workstreams\nEnsure delivery within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters\nStrategy Execution & Transformation\nTranslate Business Banking strategy into executable programme roadmaps\nDrive digital transformation, process optimisation, and operational efficiency initiatives\nEnable delivery of strategic outcomes through structured programme management\nGovernance, Risk & Compliance\nEstablish and manage programme governance frameworks, reporting structures, and controls\nMonitor programme risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring mitigation plans are in place\nEnsure compliance with Absa policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements\nMaintain audit-ready documentation across programme lifecycle\nStakeholder Management\nEngage and influence senior stakeholders (Business, Technology, Risk, Operations)\nProvide clear programme reporting and progress, risks, and outcomes\nDrive accountability across teams to meet delivery targets\nMinimum Qualifications & Experience\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (NQF Level 7)\nPostgraduate qualification in Project/Programme Management or Business - advantageous\nCertifications (Preferred)\nProgramme/Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP)\nAgile / SAFe certification\nChange Management certification (e.g. Prosci) - advantageous\nExperience\n10+ years’ experience in programme/project management or delivery leadership\nProven experience managing large, complex transformation programmes\nStrong background in financial services / banking (preferably Business Banking)\nExperience leading:Digital transformation initiatives\nOperational excellence / process optimisation programmes\nCross-functional, multi-stakeholder delivery environments\n\nTrack record of delivering programmes with measurable
