You’ll take ownership of complex scopes, lead technical coordination, and help guide Project Engineers and interns. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, mentoring others, and taking pride in delivering high-quality work.\nYou’ll be involved in every phase of the project, from start-up through closeout, with increasing responsibility for systems coordination, cost management, and technical execution.\nWhat You’ll Do\nCoordinate and lead technical and administrative project functions from start-up through closeout\nManage complex building systems coordination, including submittals, RFIs, clash detection, and design reviews\nSupport bid package development, schedule management, change management, and cost reporting\nOversee subcontractor compliance, documentation, and quality control processes\nPartner with Project Managers and Superintendents on project planning and execution\nMaintain strong communication with owners, design teams, and trade partners\nLead jobsite engineering activities and participate in project meetings\nTrack budgets, costs, and forecasting to support financial performance\nCoach, mentor, and support Project Engineers and interns\nPromote and model strong safety practices and support Absher’s safety culture\nEnsure project documentation and closeout materials are accurate and complete\nWhy You’ll Be Successful\nYou bring strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and a calm, steady approach to problem-solving. You balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture, and you take pride in doing things the right way.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n4+ years of relevant construction experience\nStrong understanding of construction means and methods\nProficiency with project management and construction software platforms\nAbility to read and interpret plans, specifications, and submittals\nExperience coordinating complex building systems\nDemonstrated ability to mentor and support junior staff\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent organization, time management, and follow-through\nDependable, professional, and comfortable handling confidential information\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nWork is primarily based in a jobsite trailer with frequent visits to active construction areas. The role requires regular movement throughout the site, use of standard PPE, and the ability to work in varying weather and site conditions. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds is required, with heavier lifting supported as needed.\nAbsher is a Federal Contractor. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.\nSalary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.\nPay Transparency\n$100,000—$130,000 USD\nBackground Check & Pre-Employment Screening\nAll offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
