This role is responsible for managing day to day construction operations on complex commercial projects and ensuring work is completed safely, with quality, and on schedule.\nYou will serve as the on-site leader coordinating field teams, trade partners, and project staff to keep work moving efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with owners, designers, and inspectors. The right person for this role brings strong field leadership, sound judgment, and pride in building projects the right way.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout\nSupervise, train, and mentor field staff, craft labor, and subcontractors\nSet clear expectations around safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism on site\nEnsure work is performed safely and in alignment with contract requirements and project plans\nPartner closely with Project Managers, owners, inspectors, and design teams to maintain strong communication\nDevelop and manage CPM schedules, pull plans, and detailed look-ahead schedules\nCoordinate inspections, testing, documentation, and daily reporting\nMonitor labor productivity and material usage to support project financial goals\nIdentify and resolve field issues quickly to protect schedule, quality, and team performance\nParticipate in preconstruction planning including constructability reviews and sequencing strategies\nWhy You’ll Be Successful\nYou bring strong field experience and leadership presence. You know how to coordinate multiple trades, keep work organized, and maintain momentum on complex projects. You communicate clearly, hold teams accountable, and take pride in delivering projects that meet high standards for safety, quality, and schedule performance.\n8+ years of construction experience with significant time spent in a Superintendent or field leadership role\nProven experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling (to include master schedules), and trade coordination \nDemonstrated commitment to safety, mentorship, and building strong field teams\nPreferred Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of Procore and Primavera P6 preferred\nOSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification, or ability to obtain\nJunior college, vocational education, or technical training in construction a plus\nNote: Absher is a Federal Contractor.
