and operational supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and FAA-compliant airline operations.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThis role demands a dependable and reliable individual.\nConduct initial, recurrent, and requalification training and competency checks for Flight Operations Officers.\nDevelop and maintain training curricula, syllabi, and qualification programs.\nDeliver instruction in aircraft systems and limitations, flight planning, meteorology, navigation, Operations Specifications, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).\nMaintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.\nDevelop and support Flight Control standards and best practices.\nParticipate in the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC).\nSupport and manage Flight Control software systems, including LIDO, Ops++, AeroData, Jeppesen, Honeywell Database, and FAA systems.\nCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders and regulatory agencies to support safe, efficient, and compliant airline operations. \nSupervise Flight Control operations and provide leadership to team members.\nConduct and participate in internal and external audits, including IOSA, DOD, FAA, or others as required.\nPerform Flight Operations Officer duties as required.\nPerform additional duties as required\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervise Flight Control flight operations\nExecute supervisory functions, including hiring, firing, counseling, and employee evaluations\nProvide leadership and guidance to flight control personnel\nEnsure efficient workflow and problem resolution within the team REQUIREMENTS:\nMust have HSD/GED\nFAA Aircraft Dispatcher’s license\n1 year as aircraft dispatcher with FAR 121 carrier including 1 year with ABX\n1 year’s computer-based flight planning experience\nPC proficiency\nExcellent written/oral communication skills\nFlexibility/adaptability in decision making\nAbility to lift objects weighing various amounts up to 40 lb.\nPREFERRED SKILLS:\nPilot’s license\nExperience as aircraft dispatcher lead/supervisor\nCollege coursework in supervisory/management field\nSupervisory
