This will be a 3rd shift position.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop, implement, and manage contingency plans for operations\nEnsure compliance with all applicable FARs\nCollect and analyze data for accident/incident investigations related to aircraft mishaps\nMaintain records of normal and non-normal flight operations\nPlan and monitor progress of ABX and contract flights, resolving issues as they arise\nPerform duties of Flight Operation Officer, as needed\nEvaluate weather and fuel requirements, including daily arrival fuel assessments\nAssess aircraft performance and monitor flight progress\nEnsure all proper slots and permits are secured for international flights\nMake necessary adjustments in the LIDO database\nInterface with customers to coordinate flight control operations\nPerform additional duties as required\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervise daily and nightly Flight Control operations\nExecute supervisory functions, including hiring, firing, counseling, and employee evaluations\nProvide leadership and guidance to flight control personnel\nEnsure efficient workflow and problem resolution within the team\nREQUIREMENTS:\nMust have HSD/GED\nFAA Aircraft Dispatcher’s license\n1 year as aircraft dispatcher with FAR 121 carrier including 1 year with ABX\n1 year computer flight planning experience\nPC proficiency\nExcellent written/oral communication skills\nFlexibility/adaptability in decision making\nAbility to lift objects weighing various amounts up to 40 lb.\nPREFERRED SKILLS:\nPilot’s license\nExperience as aircraft dispatcher lead/supervisor\nCollege coursework in supervisory/management field\nSupervisory
