Provide recommendations for improvement. \nWork with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve any supplier invoice issues or discrepancies. \nCoordinate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel, ensuring timely testing and release of materials. \nConduct cycle counts and wall-to-wall counts as needed. \nPick and stage materials for manufacturing and laboratory support. \nSupport accurate client billing and raw material traceability through timely processing of return to stock items. \nInspect stock for damage/product integrity \nMaintain organization of work areas through 6S (sort, straighten, standardize, shine, sustain, safety). \nInteract with Manufacturing and laboratory departments to reconcile inventory variances. \nPerform packaging and shipping of materials and samples to customers and/or testing facilities. Monitor shipments and update of any potential delays. \nProvide backup support to leadership for client audits. \nManage effective relationships with suppliers as well as internal and external clients. \nManage multiple changing priorities. \nOperate heavy equipment and vehicles to move materials \nOperate to the highest ethical and moral standards. \nComply with Abzena's policies and procedures. \nCommunicate effectively with clients, supervisors, colleagues and staff. \nParticipate effectively as a team player in all aspects of Abzena's business. \nAdhere to quality standards set by regulations and Abzena policies, procedures, and mission. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nMinimum high school diploma, or equivalent. \n2+ years’ experience in materials management. \n2+ years of experience with GMP environments\nAbility to read and understand and carry out Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and other Quality Process Documentation in English. \nProven ability to provide excellent written and oral communication skills. \nKnowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the manufacturing and biologic environment preferred. \nExperience with Microsoft office. \nWorking knowledge of the ERP system. \nPhysical Requirementsa\nAbility to stand for 1-2 hours at a time, sit for 2 to 3 hours at a time.\n\nFrequently lift and or move objects up to 50 pounds.\n\nStand/walk during entire length of shift.\n\nUse arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel or reach.\n\nAbility to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\n\nVisual abilities including near and far sight, color, peripheral vision, depth and ability to
