Individuals would be responsible for finding ways to apply departmental new ideas into their daily work. This position needs a self-starter who works to improve their own effectiveness as well as provides ad-hoc suggestions for broader improvements for IT Security Systems. Execution of assigned tasks on time and on quality with some oversight and assistance from others.\nJob Duties\nHands-on experience with SASE platform (e.g., Netskope, Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma or equivalent).\nExperience with change management & ticketing systems (Jira & Zendesk or equivalents).\nHands-on experience with AWS-native security tools such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, and Detective.\nAnalyze security events and incidents sourced from SASE telemetry and AWS (or equivalent such as GCP, Azure/Entra) platforms to identify threats, anomalies, and suspicious activity.\nParticipate in vulnerability scanning and assessment efforts, leveraging AWS Inspector and related tooling to identify and prioritize remediation.\nSupport due-diligence and audit activities, collecting and presenting evidence from AWS environments and SASE platforms as required.\nAssist with containment and mitigation of security incidents, utilizing AWS Security Hub playbooks, GuardDuty findings, and SASE event data.\nIdentify gaps, vulnerabilities, exploits, and weaknesses in cloud and network security controls; produce mitigation recommendations based on AWS and SASE security best practices.\nConduct technical reviews and security control assessments of AWS workloads, SASE integrations, and related IT systems.\nHandle escalations from 1st/2nd line support, especially for AWS account issues, SSO/SASE policy violations, and cloud security events.\nPerform ad-hoc and special project work, supporting both internal initiatives and client-facing engagements involving AWS security or SASE deployments.\nEducation, Experience and Skills\nRequired Education and Experience \nBachelor’s Degree in related field or three years of practical experience in related information security role.\nPreferred Education and Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in related field.\nFour years of practical experience in related information security role (e.g., SOC Analyst) Relevant cybersecurity professional certification (e.g., Sec+ CySA+ GSEC SSCP)\nRequired Skills and Attributes\nDemonstrated professional integrity\nDependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs\nAbility to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment\nAbility to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients\nHighly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks\nDedicated to upholding ACA’s high-quality standards and customer service focus\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nWhat working at ACA offers:\nWe offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
