AND \nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Processing, or a closely related field; OR \nAn equivalent combination of related education, and/or experience. \nSuccessful completion of classes in GIS, computer science, geography, or civil engineering is preferred. \nPROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nBuilds, and maintains integrations between diverse systems using an Enterprise Service Bus document management workflow under the direction of Systems Analyst III. \nConstructs system interfaces, including their definition, organization, documentation, and implementation. \nEnsures designated software implementation and development techniques are consistent with Shelby County standards and guidelines. \nWorks with users to define problems and devises logical procedures to solve problems within the capacity and limitations of equipment, operating time, and form of desired results. \nInvestigates and makes recommendations about useful web technologies and reports results to management. \nMaintains security and integrity controls. \nCreates and monitors web standards and procedures for Information Technology Dept. \nIntegrates data and systems through the use of JDBC, ODBC, WebServices, or other acceptable methods. \nConsults and advises various departments on making web site information more accessible to the general public. \nPerforms testing in accordance with established procedures. \nConsults with system's users and development groups on test results. \nCodes, debugs, tests and documents application programs as requested by management. \nAssists in the development of specifications for software applications. \nPerforms other related duties as assigned or directed.\nKSAs\nKnowledge of test procedures and documentation standards in concordance with business theory and principles. \nThorough knowledge of DevOps, JAVA, Swing, CSS, Java Script, EJB, HTML, IceFaces, Richfaces, and Servelets. \nThorough knowledge of JDBC or ODBC. \nKnowledge of SSRS, Crystal Reports, XML, XML Schema, JSON, REST and Log4J. \nThorough knowledge of relational databases: MS SQL Server \nAbility to work with and communicate technical information to users. \nAnalytically skilled to initiate development of clear and concise specifications, documentation, and procedures. \nAbility to coordinate, solve, and complete multiple projects in a deadline-oriented work environment. \nAbility to work independently or as a member of a team to complete projects by required deadlines. \nAbility to apply and communicate technical knowledge and principles in designing major software or other systems and conduct user interviews. \nAbility to interpret and convert business problems to computer language. \nAbility to communicate technical information and conduct user interviews. \nSkill in coordinating efforts of a large project. \nExperience in one of the following is a plus: DevOps, OnBase, SharePoint, Project Server, Workflow development using Nintex.\nDisclaimer\nThis position is subject to a background check for any convictions that have a substantial relationship to potential job duties.
