The focus of this role is on device-level electromechanical testing, ensuring the performance, quality, and durability of the complete product. You will join a program consisting of multiple R&D projects where you'll be supported by senior test engineers. The work is 100% on-site at Vaisala's modern headquarters and laboratories in Vantaa, allowing you to work closely with physical devices and design teams.\n\nYou are offered\n\nVaisala is a world leader in measurement device manufacturing - a golden mark on your CV\n\nYou'll join a team with mentoring and support.\n\nPermanent contract with Academic Work with possibility to be recruited to Vaisala\n\nWork tasks\n\nEnvironmental & Reliability Testing: Planning, preparing, and executing environmental and reliability tests (such as thermal cycling and vibration) to evaluate product behavior at the device level under physical stress, analyze the results, and understand how the complete system performs.\n\nFailure Analysis: Troubleshooting mechanical and hardware issues in collaboration with electronics, mechanical, and software designers.\n\nData Analysis: Analyzing and interpreting test data to evaluate product performance and reliability.\n\nDocumentation: Reporting findings clearly and systematically managing test cases.\n\nWe are looking for\n\nA relevant degree in engineering (e.g. Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering).\n\nSome relevant previous work experience from technical roles, internships, or hands-on hobbies (e.g., maintenance, assembly, repair, or DIY projects).
