Travelling worldwide you’ll work with some of the best global brands around. \n\nThis is a great opportunity for somebody looking to work with the latest technology, with the space to grow and develop within the role.\n\nRole and Responsibilities\nThe set up, operation, and breakdown of equipment pertaining to an event, primarily LED panels. \nProvide appropriate technical support for the events undertaken. \nAssisting in the execution of specific projects from concept to delivery. \nWorking as part of a team, providing technical assistance to other Technicians as necessary. \nPulling and prepping equipment for jobs. \nAssisting in the loading and unloading of vans/trucks. \nEnsuring accurate completion of paperwork. \nFollowing safe working practices and maintaining health and safety standards to ensure that you, your co-workers, clients, and members of the public are kept safe. \nAssist with warehouse duties when necessary (including assisting with stock taking of equipment if requested). \nAttending and participating in training as required. \nAny other reasonable ad hoc duties as required.\n\nQualifications and Pre-Requisites \nBroad knowledge of audio, video and networking techniques is essential. \nDemonstrated technical/electronics training, and/or experience within the AV live event industry is required. \nMust have good troubleshooting skills.\nMust be able to take directions as well as multitask in a fast-paced environment without supervision. \nMust have a positive attitude, be team-orientated and have great customer service skills. \nStrong communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers and clients, often under deadline pressure.\nA full, clean driving licence. \nPhysical Requirements\n\nThe duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel, and lift and/or move 25kg. \n\nOther physical requirements of the role include communication, excellent manual dexterity, aural skills and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. \n\nThe employee will not always be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions. \n\nHours and Availability \n\nFull time – a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday- Sunday. \n\nOvertime will be required as necessitated by the needs of the business which will include early mornings, late evenings and weekends. Global travel and overnight stays will also be required.
