This is a great opportunity for an individual who has recently completed, or is currently pursuing, their Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, with a robust support program to enable candidate success as they work towards their designation.\n Supports full cycle accounting, recording, reporting, and reconciliation of financial activities ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data \nPrepares monthly bank reconciliation(s), assists in the reconciliation of accounts related to payables, receivables, expenses, and capital assets to ensure accuracy\nManage the company’s corporate credit cards and employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies\nPerforms various financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting\nAssists the Accounts Payable Administrator in responding to queries relating to the processing and payment of vendor invoicing\nWorks closely with other departments to ensure that expenses are appropriately captured and classified, and provide support as needed for financial inquiries\nAssists with the preparation of supporting documentation for financial audits and reporting\nSuggests and supports improvements to processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy in managing accounts payable, credit cards, and expense reporting\nOther duties as required\n Post-secondary degree in a related field \n1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or co-op experience is considered an asset\nRecently completed, or working towards an accounting designation\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment\nProficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with mid-market or top-tier ERP systems is ideal\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities\nHighly organized, adaptable to change, and eager to learn\nAs a member of Acadia Broadcasting, you will have access to:\nA Competitive compensation and benefits package which includes flexible health, dental coverage options, as well as life insurance and disability benefits\nCoverage of professional dues and continued education related to the CPA\nAn annual Health Spending Account (HSA)\n5% Employer Matched RRSPs\nA Fitness Reimbursement Program\nAccess in our excellent Corporate Wellness Programs\nThe radio environment is a rewarding one - one that the right candidate will enjoy.
