This is a hands-on technical role, responsible for ensuring all cables, connectors, and consumables are maintained, tested, organised, and prepared to the highest standards.\n\nThe role will be based at our Hertford warehouse. Occasional travel to Harlow, may be required short term to support operational requirements and projects. Travel costs associated with this transition will be covered by the company. \n\nKey Responsibilities\nInspect, test, colour code, label, maintain, and organise cables and connectors in line with company quality standards\nMaintain cable trunks, cable bags, spares, and consumables, reporting any shortages, damage, or missing items\nPull and prepare cables and equipment for jobs, working closely with the Warehouse, Operations, and Technical teams\nUse company systems to check daily work, allocate equipment to jobs, and maintain accurate records\nSupport wider warehouse operations, including equipment preparation, stock taking, loading and unloading, and general warehouse maintenance\nAssist the Logistics team with rigging and de-rigging activities when required\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with Health & Safety standards\nComplete relevant paperwork and timesheets accurately\n\nAbout you\nPrevious experience working with professional AV, lighting, power, or data cabling is desirable\nGood understanding of cable preparation, testing, maintenance, and organisation\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards\nOrganised and able to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment\nComfortable using computer systems and asset management software\nPositive, proactive, and team-oriented approach to work\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments\nAbility and willingness to travel occasionally to other company locations as required\nPhysically capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 25kg and working in an active warehouse environment\nFlexible and willing to work overtime, evenings, and weekends when required\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician to develop their skills within a busy live events environment, supporting the preparation and maintenance of essential cable infrastructure across the
