We bring an unrivalled service and technical know-how to every project we deliver, supporting exhibitions, concerts, touring, conferences, theatre, TV, film and retail.\n\nWe are seeking a Cable Repair Technician to join our UK warehouse team and take responsibility for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of cables, connectors, and consumables. This is a hands-on, busy role focused on ensuring all cable stock is kept serviceable, safe, and ready for use across live event projects.\n\nThe Cable Repair Technician is responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance of cables and connectors, ensuring equipment is returned to a safe and usable condition in line with company standards. The role also supports wider warehouse operations where required.\n\nThe role will be based at our Hertford warehouse. Occasional travel to our other UK locations, including Harlow, may be required short term to support operational requirements and projects. Travel costs associated with this transition will be covered by the company. \n\nKey Responsibilities\nInspect, test, repair, and maintain cables, connectors, and associated consumables\nWork closely with Goods-In to process returned equipment and identify damage or missing items\nClean, label, colour code, and prepare cables for reuse in line with company standardsCarry out PAT testing and ensure all cable stock remains safe and serviceable\nMaintain accurate cable records and update stock information using the asset management system\nIdentify shortages of cables, connectors, or consumables and report accordingly\nPrepare and pull cables for jobs in line with operational requirements and schedules\nMaintain cable trunks and ensure equipment is organised and ready for reuse\nSupport stock control, inventory checks, and equipment tracking\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety standards\nAssist with general warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and equipment movement when required\n\nAbout you\nPrevious experience working with AV, lighting, power, or data cabling is essential\nStrong practical skills in cable testing, repair, and maintenance\nGood understanding of connectors, cable types, and industry standards\nExperience with PAT testing \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards\nOrganised and able to manage workload effectively in a busy environment\nComfortable using computer systems and asset management software\nPositive, hands-on, and team-oriented approach to work\nStrong communication skills and a proactive attitude\nPhysically capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 25kg and working in an active warehouse environment\nFlexible and willing to work overtime, evenings, and weekends when required\nAbility and willingness to support occasional travel to other UK locations if required\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and
