bank.\nResponsibilities\nData Policy Development & Governance\nDevelop, review, and maintain enterprise-wide data management policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.\nEnsure data policies align with the bank‘s business strategy, regulatory requirements, and governance framework.\nEstablish policy lifecycle management processes, including approval, communication, implementation, and periodic review.\nDefine and maintain data governance principles, controls, and accountability models.\nRegulatory Compliance\nMonitor regulatory changes related to data management, privacy, information security, data retention, and digital banking.\nAssess the impact of regulatory requirements on existing data policies and controls.\nSupport regulatory examinations, internal audits, and compliance assessments related to data governance.\nEnsure compliance with local banking regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards.\nData Governance Framework Management\nSupport the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Bank‘s Data Governance Framework.\nCollaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Custodians to establish governance processes.\nDefine and maintain data classification standards, metadata standards, and data ownership models.\nDrive policy adherence across business and technology functions.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nWork closely with business units, risk management, compliance, legal, IT, cybersecurity, and project teams.\nProvide guidance and interpretation on data governance policies and standards.\nFacilitate governance forums, committees, and policy review workshops.\nPromote data governance awareness and best practices throughout the organization.\nPolicy Monitoring & Reporting\nMonitor compliance with approved data policies and standards.\nDevelop governance metrics, KPIs, and compliance reports.\nIdentify policy gaps, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.\nRecommend corrective actions and track remediation plans.\nTraining & Awareness\nDevelop and deliver training materials related to data policies and governance requirements.\nConduct awareness programs to strengthen the organization‘s data-driven culture.\nSupport change management initiatives related to data governance transformation.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor‘s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines.\nMaster‘s degree is an advantage.\nExperience\nMinimum 3 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Information Management, or Banking Operations.\nExperience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries preferred.\nHands-on experience in developing policies, standards, or governance frameworks is highly desirable.\nTechnical Knowledge\nStrong understanding of:Data Governance Frameworks\nData Management Principles\nData Quality Management\nMetadata Management\nMaster Data Management (MDM)\nData Privacy and Protection\nInformation Security Governance\nData Lifecycle Management\n\nFamiliarity with data governance tools and platforms.\nUnderstanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory
