The Company’s racino, Fairmount Park - Casino & Racing, features live racing, electronic gaming machines, live table games, food and beverage amenities, and pari-mutuel betting.\nJob Description:\nThe Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a warehouse facility, ensuring efficient and safe handling of inventory and goods. This position involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, and coordinating logistics activities. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining accurate records, implementing safety protocols, and optimizing warehouse procedures to meet productivity targets. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for daily activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory.\nCoordinate unloading of shipping containers, organizing, and maintaining supplies.\nSchedule and coordinate shipments to locations.\nManage physical inventory and communicate inventory levels to staff.\nManage material movement for all VGT/Amusement related projects and installations.\nManage field assessments and layouts for all upcoming licensed locations.\nMonitor and improve shipping procedures to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.\nManage warehouse staff.\nEnsure warehouse compliance with all company safety regulations as well as local and federal laws that govern workplace safety.\nCoordinate training of new employees and ensure that current employees are receiving ongoing training.\nProvide accurate warehouse productivity reports.\nResponsible for employee scheduling.\nAdditional duties may be required, such as management of any camera related initiatives.\nQUALIFICATIONS A certificate from college or technical school, at least 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience desired\nMinimum 21 years of age\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record is required\nStrong organizational skills\nCommitment to excellence and high standards\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow\nAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees\nVersatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm\nMust be able to pass background check to obtain Terminal Handler License\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nFrequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear\nFrequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl\nContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including calculating figures and use of a keyboard\nOccasionally required to lift/push weights up to 1100 pounds\nSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus\nExposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outside weather conditions\nExposure to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals\nFrequent exposure to blood-borne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials\nProtective clothing or equipment is required that may include gloves, helmets, steel-toed boots, or protective eyewear\nNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of, and requirements for, the performance of this job.
