This position also assists with reviewing and maintaining student transcripts, verifying credits, and collaborating with school counselors, teachers, administrators, and families to support graduation readiness and postsecondary planning.\nEligibility: Open to residents in Florida\n\nAbout the Opportunity\n\nConduct regular one-on-one meetings with students to review academic performance, credit completion, and progress toward graduation.\nReview and assist with maintaining student transcripts to ensure accurate credit tracking and graduation planning.\nMonitor students' progress toward meeting Florida graduation requirements, including required coursework, assessments, and credit accumulation.\nIdentify students at risk of not graduating on time and develop individualized graduation plans and interventions.\nCollaborate with school counselors, teachers, administrators, and families to address academic barriers and support student success.\nMaintain accurate records of student meetings, graduation plans, interventions, and progress monitoring.\nProvide proactive outreach and ongoing support to students who are behind in credits or at risk of not meeting graduation requirements.\nSupport students in understanding graduation pathways, credit recovery opportunities, and postsecondary options.\nAbout You\n\nBachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field required\nMinimum of one (1) year of experience in education, academic advising, student support, or a related field preferred\nExperience with high school graduation requirements, credit tracking, and transcript review preferred\nKnowledge of Florida high school graduation requirements, including credit requirements, state assessments, and graduation pathways\nExperience with K-12 online learning preferred\nExperience working with students who are academically at risk or behind in credits\nAbility to analyze student academic records, identify graduation barriers, and develop individualized plans for student success\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail when reviewing transcripts, monitoring credits, and maintaining student records\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products\nFamiliarity with student information systems, such as PowerSchool, preferred\nAbility to handle confidential student information responsibly and maintain compliance with FERPA regulations\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-informed decisions\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with school counselors, teachers, and administrators\nStudent-centered approach with a commitment to helping all students achieve graduation success\nBilingual skills preferred\nAbility to pass federal and state criminal background checks\nAbout Us \n“We believe that every child should be able to be anything they want in life, regardless of their birthplace and circumstances.” - Ron Packard, CEO & Founder \nACCEL Schools is a network of 80+ high-performing, public charter schools serving PK-12 students.
