You’ll work with a collaborative team to provide academic, social-emotional, and career-oriented support that empowers each learner’s journey.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnrollment\nProvide small-group instruction across multiple English and literacy courses\nProgress monitor and support course completion, with CER metrics aligned to network goals\nMaintain consistent student and family communication, including progress monitoring for at-risk learners\nSupport district and state test preparation\nMonitor student online and onsite participation\nAttend weekly team huddles to discuss student progress and social-emotional growth\nImplement the district-wide intervention plan (progress learning), including reading intervention and writing workshops\nProvide remediation and enrichment to address learning gaps and accelerate success\nPerform other responsibilities as needed to support the academy's mission\nRetention\nServe as an advisor for assigned GCs by maintaining communication with learners and their support team\nMonitor attendance, academic progress, and overall wellness to ensure consistent engagement and achievement\nAcademics\nPlan and deliver content-area instruction in both individual and small group settings\nMonitor GC academic progress toward course completion and mastery using formative and summative assessments\nAnalyze and use academic data to inform instruction and improve outcomes\nProvide remediation and enrichment opportunities to address learning gaps and accelerate success\nParticipate in professional development, data meetings, and school/community events\nAdvocacy\nCollaborate with the GC support team to develop personalized learning pathways, transition strategies, and incentive plans\nRepresent the academy in community events and contribute to academy-wide initiatives\nPerform other responsibilities as needed to support the academy’s mission\nWhat We’re Looking For\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree required, Master's preferred\nLicensure: Florida 6-12 secondary certification in English (REQUIRED)\nExperience: Open to all experience levels; candidates with a passion for instructional coaching and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply\nSkills: Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills\nPassion: A deep commitment to helping at-risk youth succeed academically and personally\nPreferred Qualifications\nReading interventionist credentials\nExperience working with IEP/504 students\nESOL experience\nExposure to students who have been involved with the juvenile justice system\nFamiliarity with G Suite and Focus\nExperience in non-traditional or at-risk youth settings\nWhy Join Us?\nBeing part of Acceleration Academies means joining a team that’s dedicated to transforming student outcomes.
